    • 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
      • The free chlorine concentration in the pool was found to be 0.01 ppm.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The round weir located in the skimmer on the north side of the pool was damaged and was not working properly. Obtain a replacement round weir to ensure proper skimming action is occurring in the skimmer pot.

      • Chemical controller was not feeding disinfectant chemical when the ORP value was below the set point. No alarm was noted on the controller. Bulk chemical pails had sufficient liquid chemical in them.

      • Current chemical testing logs found in the mechanical room were not dated so was unable to determine when chemical testing was performed. No logs were found for chemical testing conducted from Feb 15 through to Feb 18, 2026. Ensure chemical testing is completed and documented once daily. Ensure the records are legible and have the date for testing written in the log sheets.

      • Automated controller was not feeding chlorine to the pool when the ORP reading was below the setpoint. Ensure the chlorine is maintained at no less than 1.0ppm. Contact the pool service provider to check and validate that the chemical controller is working correctly.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The flow rate of the pool is above the maximum flow rating for the sand filter installed. The flow rate for the pool can not exceed 74 GPM. Adjust the flow rate of the pool to between 65 GPM and 74 GPM.

    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The flow rate exceeds the maximum flow required to maintin a filtration rate of 15 GPM/sq. ft. The flow rate was found to be 90 GPM and must be no more than 74 GPM. Adjust the flow rate.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • 1. There are sections of tile where extensive grout deterioration was observed in addition to some missing tiles. The basin finish must be regrouted to prevent further damage to the basin.2. Algae growth was noted in the basin corners of the pool deep end. Clean and remove algae growth noted in the grout lines.
