      • 1. One of the three skimmers was not working. No flow or skimming action was noted in the skimmer in the SE corner of the whirlpool basin. Investigate and correct the issue with the non-working skimmer.2. There are two return inlets on the lower part of the foot well that are missing the eyeball fitting to ensure proper water circulation. Replace the missing parts of the eyeball fitting so they are working correctly as designed.

      • The microbiological water sample collected 04/02/2026 was unsatisfactory: Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated. Take all necessary action to ensure microbiologically safe water. Submit a new microbiological water sample at your earliest convenience once the water chemistry is balanced.
    • 03. Is the bacteriological quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • The microbiological water sample collected 04/02/2026 was unsatisfactory: HPC 1340 CFU/mL. Take all necessary action to ensure microbiologically safe water. Submit a new microbiological water sample at your earliest convenience once the water chemistry is balanced.

      • pH was measured at 7.89. Adjust the pH to between 6.8 to 7.6
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • The chemical controller was reading 7.75 (above the set point of 7.4) but the chemical feed pump was not on and feeding acid into the system. Ensure to have the controller checked before the whirlpool is open to the public.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • Sand and debris was noted in the whirlpool basin. Operator noted that the with the new filter installed the pool company was returning later in the week to check for leaks. He will advise to make sure they clean and remove the sand and debris.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Anti-entrapment plan needs to be updated and resubmitted as new suction outlets were installed in the whirlpool. Forward updated documentation for review and confirmed compliance.

      • A new filter has been installed and is smaller than the previous filter. The filter is undersized for maintaining the required filtration for the whirlpool. Current filter is 4.91 sq ft and the previous approved filter was 7.06 sq ft. The correct filter must be installed before the whirlpool can reopen after the leak is repaired.
    • 12. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Critical)?
      • The main drains in the basin will expire on January 5, 2025. Install new main drains that are complaint with the sump configurations in the basin. Ensure the anti-entrapment compliance plan is updated and submitted to the undersigned for confirmation.

      • 1. The emergency pump shut off testing is not being consistently documented. Ensure that the tests are documented every two weeks. Suggest to create a separate document for testing.2. No action was noted on daily log sheets when the free chlorine was measured at <0.5ppm. Ensure operators take action and address the issue as well as close the pool basin until issue has been resolved.
