      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed staff using garbage bags to cover foods at the time of inspection. Education provided that all foods must be covered, stored and protected with food-grade material. Garbage bags are for garbage only
      • Corrective Action(s): Required operator to remove all garbage bags from food contact surfaces. Staff on site remove all garbage bags at the time of inspection

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): When inquired, staff on site was not able to explain where, what or how to make sanitizer. Although bleach bottle was available at the time of inspection, proper sanitization was not being done at all. Education provided on how to make a bucket of bleach sanitizer (1 cap of bleach per gallon of water).
      • Corrective Action(s): Required operator to always have bleach on site and have sanitizer made and ready to use at all times during operation. Staff followed inspector's instructions on how to make bleach sanitizer at the time of inspection.

      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. Two opened cans stored in coolers with contents still inside the cans. Education provided that all cans, once opened, must be discarded
      • 2. Garbage bag used to cover trays above a domestic freezer
      • Corrective Action(s): Required operator transfer contents to a clean, reusable containers and discard the cans. Staff on site transferred the contents and discarded the cans at the time of inspection. Garbage bags are to be used for garbage only, nothing else. Required operator to remove the tray, wash and sanitize it prior to reusing it. Garbage bags to be removed from all food contact surfaces.

      • 304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
      • Observation: Rodent droppings observed throughout the facility, in hard to reach areas and crevices. Regular cleaning should be conducted.
      • Corrective Action(s): Required operator to clean and sanitize all areas; ensure to wet droppings with sanitizer prior to removing them. Regular and thorough monitoring is required daily.

      • Observation: Operator with foodsafe certificate not on site at the time of inspection as she is ill. No staff on site has FOODSAFE level 1 or equivalent.
      • Corrective Action(s): Required operator to register all staff with FOODSAFE Level 1 so that during the owners' absence, at least one staff on site has food safe.
