    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Drink cooler thermometer is not accurate. Obtain a new thermometer for the cooler.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Hand sink contains paper towel and a detergent bottle. Please supply a hand soap with a hand pump.

    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Ensure bleach test strips are available to verify bleach concentration for dishwashing and sanitizer spray bottles.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Mouse droppings observed in the storage room beside the fridge, behind freezers etc. Clean and disinfect storage room to remove droppings using hantavirus precautions. Keep food and food equipment protected from potential mice. Keep a monthly pest control log.

      • Food permit invoice is outstanding. President agreed to follow up with treasurer to settle the invoice by Friday. Also discussed looking for society number / tax statement to see if they qualify for fee exemption.
