      • Observation: Two containers of rice cakes noted in the display cooler that did not have a proper label on them. The store name "Parole's" is not on our database.
      • Corrective Action(s): Both containers were removed from the shelves. You cannot sell foods from unapproved sources.

    • 208 - Foods obtained from unapproved sources [s. 11]
      • Observation: 1) Turons were being sold from a container that had Cabalen Sweets written on it. Operator says he buys it from Cabalen but couldn't show me the most recent receipt. There were no tongs for use and facility does not have a dishwashing sink either.
      • 2) A few bags of frozen spring rolls noted in the freezer that did not have labels on them. A couple drinks noted in the freezer without labels. Two bags of steamed buns noted in the cooler with no labels.
      • Corrective Action(s): 1) As discussed, if you'd like to start selling bulk food items from other restaurants, you must provide a means of washing equipment as well as your hands i.e. install a handsink and dishwashing sinks. All receipts must be kept onsite at all times. Sale of unapproved
      • 2) Remove all unlabeled food products from the store. You cannot store personal foods at the store. You cannot sell foods from unapproved sources at the store either.
