Some floor areas under food equipment and wheels/legs of equipment require cleaning attention too

      • Observation: * Under counter freezer unit was broken and not working at time of inspection. Staff mentioned that freezer had been broken for some time. Staff on site did not know how to use dishwasher so they were not using it as owner/operator was not available to show them how to use it
      • Corrective Action(s): * Ensure ALL food equipment working and maintaining proper temperature for freezers (ie. -18'C or colder)
      • Repair immediately. Repair dishwasher and ensure it is working properly-- use 3-compartment sink temporarily

      • Observation: * Staff cell phone was found on food counter where food was being prepared. This is unsanitary and staff personal items should NOT be stored in food areas. Also, staff put a purse on the deep fryer unit and were told to move it to staff storage location. Also, front display cooler is not working and must be removed from premises(ie.taken home)
      • Corrective Action(s): * Keep ALL staff stuff in back staff storage areas (near back door). Remove small display case from front area as it is not working/used. This has been discussed on previous inspections many times!
