      • -Scoops were being stored inside cereal containers. This increases the potential for contamination. They were removed at the time of inspection.
    • 20. Do food handlers at the facility have adequate food safety training?
      • -There was no one on-site that could verify that they had taken an approved food safety course. Please ensure that someone on-site daily that prepares food takes a course and the certificate is available on-site

      • -There was no sanitizer solution in the kitchen. Please ensure that a sanitizer solution is available.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • -The commercial washer was not being used and there was only a 2-compartment sink available in the kitchen. The facility must switch to single use disposable items. The food permit will be updated. Please remove all re-useable dishes.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • -No test strips were available. Please ensure appropriate test strips are available.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • -Adequate records of pest control measures are not being maintained. Ensure a pest checklist is being maintained.
    • 20. Do food handlers at the facility have adequate food safety training?
