    • 308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
      • Observation: Main fridge in kitchen at 10C/50F. Temperature logs from yetserday show 42F, 48F, and 50F. Today's entry shows 48F. Staff thought thermometer was not accurate but reading matches EHO's probe thermometer.
      • Corrective Action(s): Staff moved eggs, cooked stew, cheeses, sour cream, cream cheese, and cottage cheese to small fridge. Move as much of the milk over as you can.
      • Staff informed that bottom vent is due to be cleaned.
      • Fridge will need to be serviced it if cannot maintain 40F/4C or less.
      • Also, recommend obtaining a second thermometer for the main fridge as the external gauge is broken.
      • Contact EHO once fridge is able to maintain temp and do not store potentially hazardous foods in it.

      • Observation: Masking tape covers edge of overhang of "microwave shelf". This is not an approved material.
      • Corrective Action(s): Remove masking tape and ensure that paint is sealed, or remove tape and install plastic strip on edge of shelf, or remove shelf entirely if not used. Materials of shelving must always be smooth, impervious, and easy to clean. Facility to put in a service request.
