Back Alley Thai Food

FIVE STARS. This place is incredibly good. Everything I have eaten here. You have to try her home made ice cream too! Sar, the lady who owns this spot is so friendly and generous and I can't say enough good things about this little hidden gem. Sorry I don't have better pictures, they are just some I snapped before devouring everything.

Caution: Other 1-star reviews are way more accurate than their 5-star reviews Sorry, but i seriously don’t understand why this place is so hyped up, it’s $20 for a cafeteria quality and portion of food, there are only very bland chicken pieces and a couple carrots pieces in a small paper soup bowl of curry, so unbalanced and unappetizing. I haven’t been so disappointed by a food establishment for a long time until now, it’s almost a bit scammy to charge so much for such poor quality of food.

Fantastic little hideaway spot in downtown Invermere. We all ordered different dishes and they were each very delicious. The owner heard us lament that they were out of the mango sticky rice... So she surprised us at the end of the meal by giving us the last portion complementary. It started to pour rain but we were dry under the large umbrellas. Very good experience!

The Back Alley Thai Food is a cute little outdoor restaurant with a good atmosphere! The owner was very kind! The food was delicious! We had the special of the day which was Hung Lay pork curry and rice 10/10. We also had the soup, side of cucumber salad, and pork, I can’t remember the names of those dishes but they were also 10/10. And to finish it off, we had the best homemade coconut ice cream with mango and sticky rice, the best homemade coconut ice cream I’ve ever had. We will be coming back again next time we visit Invemere!

Great Thai food and a wonderful addition to Invermere. My wife and I missed out on trying the food last year but made sure we tried it this year. My wife is Thai and we always try different Thai and Lao restaurants when we can. The food here is on par with the best we have had. Will definitely be back when we are in Invermere again. The vegetarian spring rolls were some of the best we have ever had.

A dog friendly place that serves delicious Thai food in town. The green curry chicken, and the dumplings were tasty, and there’s another soup that I forgot the name we had on a Tuesday special it’s really GOOD. The price and the portion were decent. They don’t have many options for food but it’s definitely WORTH A TRY if you visit Invermere. It’s such a hidden gem in town.

We were looking for a lunch spot while in town and stumbled upon this little hidden gem. Our kids really enjoyed the grilled cheese and my wife and I shared a Brava burger. The food was fantastic and the two ladies that were running the joint were super friendly and did an incredible job. Would highly recommend this hidden gem, one of the best burgers I've ever had.

I would say this is the best I have had. Excellent 6-star service. They gave samples of anything we wanted to try, too. They even offered us spring rolls. I wish this business the best, because they are the best! You can tell they love their customers and what they do.
