Sounded and looked promising, but it didn’t quite land for me. The medium cappuccino was way too milky – barely tasted like coffee, which is kind of the whole point. The cranberry orange scone was also meh, more flavor-forward than quality. That said, the interior is genuinely nice and cozy, so it’s a pleasant place to sit, just not a standout on the coffee front.

So happy that finally a great local coffee shop has opened in Glenmore. To be honest the first experience wasn’t good. I had hair in my muffin and they did my order wrong. However I go to Bright Jenny other location and love their coffee and pastries and sandwiches. Therefore I gave them 5stars and will change my review of my next experience is good.

I came here for the first time with a friend and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. I ordered a coffee, and she ordered a London Fog and a vegan breakfast wrap. i received my coffee quickly (though the barista initially forgot the oat milk), but after that things went downhill. Despite it not being busy—there was only one other customer—we waited over 10 minutes. Eventually, another staff member came out from the back to tell us they had run out of the wraps and offered my friend a refund, which she accepted. We then asked about the London Fog, only to find out it hadn’t even been started—the barista had completely forgotten about it. We had been standing right at the bar the entire time waiting, which made it even more frustrating. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. My friend was exhausted and we needed to get to work, so we couldn’t wait any longer and had to leave without her drink. The lack of organization and basic customer service was really disappointing. It’s especially frustrating because I’ve always had great experiences at other Bright Jenny locations, and I live nearby. But after this, I don’t feel confident coming back to this one.

i ordered an iced chai, and my friend got an iced matcha. both the drinks were very milky and didn’t taste good. my friends matcha had a bug in it too if you look at the picture :(

Beautiful new location! This will be a central hub for the area, no doubt! We felt the drinks were not great though, unfortunately. But we'll give them credit because it's still a new location. They must be getting used to things still.

Very disappointed with our recent experience here. My partner and I stopped in for coffee and after she took her very first sip of an iced latte, a long slimy, moldy hair came up through the straw. It was honestly one of the most disgusting café experiences we have ever had. I immediately brought the drink back inside to show the employee. The only response we received was being asked if we wanted a refund. There was very little acknowledgment of how serious or unsanitary the situation was. Later we went inside to request a refund, the employee appeared distracted, barely acknowledged her at first, and refunded the drinks with a quick “sorry about that.” The lack of professionalism and concern was almost as upsetting as the issue itself. We sent a respectful email to the company afterward to give them the opportunity to address the situation privately, but after over 2 weeks we have still received no response. Mistakes can happen, but cleanliness, food safety, and customer service should be taken seriously. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling disgusted and completely dismissed.

Visiting the area for a few days and searched around for some local coffee shop recommendations. After trying a few different places over the past few days, Bright Jenny was my favorite of the bunch. The Uganda pourover I got was fruit-forward and delicious, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Got a half-off/ day-old scone that was a good snack as well. Would highly recommend stopping in one of the Bright Jenny locations if you’re in Kelowna.

drip coffee was too acidic, breakfast sandwich was great just too greasy, cedar spiced latte was amazing and the cranberry scone was good!

I had a cake pop, super tasty, and tasted fresh, it was a good balance of all the flavours. I also had a coffee, the coffee was amazing, but personally I’m not a fan of the beans. The latte artwork was super cool though.
