- (1) A reused small juice bottle was under the kitchen sink cupboard. The bottle was not labelled. The owner thought it was oil. When opened it was observed to contain a yellow bleach-smelling solution.

- (1) Bags of oats were stored under the kitchen sink cupboard next to bottles of chemicals. A yellow cloth was on top of one of the bags of oats.(2) Cleaning equipment (mops, mop bucket, brooms, vacuum, etc) was being stored in the kitchen.
- 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
- (1) The reused small juice bottle containing an unknown chemical was not labelled. Ensure all chemicals are properly labeled.(2) Chemicals were stored in the same shelves/cupboards as food items. There was no separate, designated storage for chemicals. In some areas chemicals were directly above food items.
- 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
- (1) The soap dispenser was not near the hand wash sink at the time of inspection. It was moved to the hand wash sink during the inspection.(2) There were no paper towels at the kitchen hand wash sink. The dispenser was refilled at the time of inspection.
