- 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
- Dishwashing procedures discussed as the process described by the operators did not indicate that dishes are done as per current guidelines available to ensure adequate sanitation. Please ensure dishwashing in the 2 comp. sinks are completed as discussed onsite. Strongly recommended for additional food safety training and/ or dishwashing training to be in place for all members practicing dishwashing.

- Flies noted in the food preparation area. Ensure pest control program in place.
- 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
- Ensure door dividing the daycare and kitchen is closed at all times. Door was noted to be open upon arrival and closed during the visit.Soup was noted to have been served at the time of inspection. This food was not listed on the snack schedule for the day of the visit. Ensure adequate snack menu is maintained and followed.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- The drop-down counter - was not smooth, needed refinishing and painting. Please ensure all food prep areas are in good repair, easily cleanable and impervious to moisture.
