   • 306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
     • Observation:
     • 1) Exhaust canopy and filters have minimal grease on them, and was required to be professionally cleaned in June 2024 (as per service sticker). The exhaust canopy and filters could attract pests and is a fire hazard.
     • 2) Sanitizer solution was not found in the premises to kill germs.
     • Corrective Action(s):
     • 1) Call a professional company to clean and service the exhaust canopy and filters. Ensure to follow the servicing frequency set by the professional company.
     • - Have staff clean the exhaust filters on a regular basis (monthly), to remove accumulated grease and dusts.
     • 2) Immediately purchase bleach to make into a sanitizing solution.
     • - Mix 1tsp of bleach into 500mL of water, in a spray bottle. Mix a new solution up every 2 days.
     • - The strength of the bleach solution should be 200ppm chlorine bleach.
