Bacchus Cafe

Excellent place to stop for a Sandwich on the way through town! We had the Garlic Roast Beef and Chicken Apple Pesto Brie sandwiches and they were delicious. Fresh bread, loads of toppings, and some nice chips to go along with it. We’ll definitely be back! 😄

Stopped on our way to lake Louise and delighted we did. This cafe is in the hall of a mini mall- but done be put off. We shared the most amazing chicken Brie and cranberry sandwich. It was delicious.

What a delightful café. The staff were so welcoming & the menu has a great selection. I opted for the Coronation chicken wrap & it was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavourful & just the right amount of mayo (erring on the right side of ”less is more”). I also had a Strawberry Sunrise smoothie which was really tasty, not too thick nor too sweet. The seating area too was pleasant, spacious & they had good tunes playing. It was all around perfect! 👍

I first visited this cafe a few years ago and I remember being utterly charmed by the fact that I could browse books while nibbling on a freshly baked cookie. It was so good. Today I stopped by again and somehow it was even more charming than I remembered. I had really delicious tomato soup with warm garlic bread and it was perfect on a lovely fall day in Golden. Hoping to be back soon!

What an absolute find!! Driving from Banff to Revelstoke, ChatGPT said stop in Golden for lunch. Little did we know we would find the Bacchus Cafe!! 1 avo on toast and garlic roast beef later, easily THE most tasty lunch we’ve had in a very long time. If you get the chance, when in Golden, to eat here, it is highly recommended!

This cafe is above a lovely bookstore and our family enjoyed our stop on our drive through Golden. We had to come back because the avocado toast is to die for!! The yummiest meal I’ve had in a long time, and the staff were so sweet!

It was so good! I had an oat latte, muffin, and veg sandwich on my drive. I learned that i could clean my cup stains with denture cleaner. The sweetest people were working, especially my barista. Hope to see you again in Golden :)

I had the opportunity to check out the new Bacchus location today, and I’m so impressed! The new space is exciting and modern, and it feels like such a fresh upgrade. They’ve added a few new items to the menu that I can’t wait to go back and try. The staff were so friendly and helpful, overall such a great experience. I’ll definitely be back!

The book part of the store was inviting and the owner was friendly and helpful, but the upstairs cafe felt chaotic and unwelcoming. It was our first time in and we had heard good things about this place. We’re not sure if we’ll come back …
