      • Front handsink obstructed by stack of drink trays.
      • Staff moved trays away from handsink (corrected). Do not obstruct handsinks; unobstructed sinks facilitate employee handwashing. Comments Routine inspection conducted today. Follow-up was also conducted in response to a complaint received by Island Health regarding sanitation concerns in front customer and food prep areas. Discussed complaint with supervisor and store manager. All coolers measured 4°C or below. All freezers measured -18°C or below. Temperature logs are up to date. High temperature measured 81°C at plate level. Quats sanitizer measured 200ppm; test strips available. No signs of pest activity. All handsinks fully equipped. Overall, facility is clean in all areas (front customer and all food prep areas); no concerns with sanitation at this time. Note: Permit to operate is hanging up in the back kitchen area; place permit to operate in a location visible to the public and send photo of permit to Environmental Health Officer by July 15, 2026.
